How to adequately thank everyone involved in #CastOn4Kids ? Each one of you contributed to making this day the celebration of giving back that Mandela Day embodies.
Huge thanks go to Erinvale Estate Hotel & Spa for their generous hosting – the venue was fantastic and the refreshments kept us going all day!
Big thanks also to ECHO Erinvale for sharing the event with us to make it as successful as it was and to Radio Helderberg for sharing it out to our entire community.
To Brei vir Blikkiesdorp/Blankets for Blikkiesdorp – you were just wonderful and your love and kindness humble us.
To everyone who knitted, crocheted, covered books, helped pack and sort, dropped off donations, gave us words of encouragement – because of YOU there will be lots more little warm hands, heads and hearts in the Helderberg.
There are nearly 2 000 children under the age of 6 in the 30 ECD Centres we mentor in the surrounding marginalised communities – these blankets, books, beanies, etc will bring much joy and needed warmth.

Masikhule makes a positive contribution to the upliftment of communities through skills training, mentorship and capacity building in the field of Early Childhood Development.
The name Masikhule means
‘Let us Grow’ in isiXhosa.
