Please see our list of items that the ECD centres need. Unfortunately knitted items (blankets, teddies, etc) cannot easily be washed and dried in the communities the ECD centres are placed in, and definitely not on a daily basis – so the only knitted items we are able to distribute will be beanies for the kiddies.
As noted, any knitted blankets will be given to the ECD staff to take home – fleece blankets are what they really need in the pre-schools.

Drop-off dates are Friday 17th July (Masikhule team will be there between 15h00 and 17h00), and
Saturday 18th July (Masikhule team will be there between 11h00 and 13h00).

What a wonderful community we live in! We are so grateful for all of the amazing donations and contributions towards our #MandelaDay campaign this year – thank you all!
Yes, we couldn’t have our usual warm and intimate get-together – but with Sage & Thyme‘s lovely venue, glorious sunny weather and generous supporters, we had a very successful event nonetheless. We were blown away by the skills and care we witnessed this year – people really went the extra mile, and we know the multiple beneficiaries will greatly appreciate this.
Thank you to Anton de Freitas and his fabulous team, thank you to everyone who supported #Caston4kids and thank you to our amazing Masikhule team for always being there and always ready to make a difference.
