RECOGNISING ACHIEVEMENT

The Masikhule End of Year function for 2015 celebrated those ECD Centres that really excelled during the year, despite their challenging environments.  The Principals and teachers embraced the Masikhule training and mentorship, and are shining examples to their colleagues and communities.

Award for consistency in Early Childhood Development

Coreen Vlok, the mentor for Lithemba, and Deborah Hoepfl,
one of our expert presenters, were thrilled to
hand over the well-deserved award for consistency in
Early Childhood Development to Beauty, Principal of Lithemba.

Winner for successfully implementing the Business Course material

Ongie’s Daycare was a deserving winner for successfully
implementing the Business Course material in a sustainable
manner.  Both Khumbule and Zine have completed the Basic,
Advanced and Business Courses with Masikhule.

numberof modules for the 2015 Business Course

Most Promising Newcomer

Kingdom Kids scooped the “Most Promising Newcomer” award.

Masikhule makes a positive contribution to the upliftment of communities through skills training, mentorship and capacity building in the field of Early Childhood Development.

The name Masikhule means ‘Let us Grow’ in isiXhosa. It is not only the children who are growing and developing, but the women too.
